We are very proud of our Ariels VCNA, which we believe is among the best junior representative netball development programs in Australia.
Our program focuses on developing each athlete’s skills, mental preparedness and physical fitness and strength, to give them the best chance of reaching their full potential within our sport.
As part of Ariels VCNA program, we offer - Strength and conditioning:- At 15/U level, our coaches run weekly fitness and footwork sessions, which are compulsory for 15-1 and 15-2 players, while players from other teams are encouraged to attend.
- At 17/U and Open level, players can attend weekly strength and conditioning sessions, which include an introductory weights component to help players prepare their bodies for the next step in their netball journey.
- VNL Development squads attend weekly strength and conditioning sessions which introduces them to the high performance levels necessary for VNL.
All of our Ariels VCNA teams and VNL Development teams, attend an annual weekend camp in late January/early February. The camp includes a night away and two days of activities, which helps our teams bond and get a head-start on their fitness ahead of the autumn netball season
